Why name a travel agency or a dmc with a personal name?
It might be an old custom, like when the tourism was starting the agencies took the name of their owners like the travel agency Thomas Cook in England or the Victoria Hotel in Switzerland.
The truth is that in this industry, without chimney, the companies at the beginning were identified with the owner’s name in order to define commitment in all the senses: the credibility, the honesty and the willing of service.
That is way this agency, opened in 1999, took the name of a server, who began her trajectory in this business in 1979; Starting in a travel agency, later taking charge of the Tourist Information Bar of the touristic board of directors to later on take charge of public relations in government office. When I finished that period I re-started my work in the private sector organizing events and again went back to the travel agency. In 1983, seeking for new areas in the sector I worked in hospitality for “Posadas de México”, “Holiday Inn”, and later as sales manager at “Los Aluxes”, after 15 years I established my own company managing groups and congress, in 2007 I collaborated with SEFOTUR as the OCEY Director, position that I carried out for 2 years and a half, time when I decided to put my agency out of activity, with the idea of not create controversy and misunderstandings.
A year later I found myself re-opening the office and gathering a young and enthusiastic work team, we did this to combine young dynamism and life experience to offer you a service beyond your expectations.
